Cat is a London-based photographer, art director and filmmaker.
Cat’s work focuses on documenting and celebrating the simple, authentic beauty of people and places, in still and motion pictures.
Cat works as a DoP and editor for her video work, which keeps the intimate feel and graphic compositions of her photography – as if the stills burst to life. So when shooting both stills and motion for projects, they hold the same look and spirit.
Collaborations and commissions include:
BAFTA, Belstaff, Hauser & Wirth, Hiut Denim, Leica, MR PORTER, Penhaligon's, Pentagram, Philharmonia Orchestra, Rolls-Royce, Royal Academy of Arts, Soho House, Sunspel, Tate Britain, The Design Museum, The Sunday Times Style, The Telegraph Magazine, Vanity Fair and V&A Museum.
Cat works with her husband Carlos Garcia, who creates bespoke
music for her films, and whose composer credits include Abbey Road Masters, Hauser & Wirth, Hiut Denim and Sunspel.
Cat is passionate about sustainable and environmentally friendly production values, working to tread lightly with the utmost respect
for nature and the places she gets to visit on shoots.
Alongside commissions, Cat is building two long-term
personal series – 'On Nature' – a series dedicated to the
wonder of the natural world, and ‘Our Time’ – documenting
creatives in places that are meaningful to them.
